CARACOLES A LA GORMANTA


Ingredients (serve 4):

  • 1,5 kg caracoles
  • 25 g flour
  • 1 red chili
  • 150 g olive oil
  • 2 garlic
  • Half onion
  • 100 g ham

Preparation:

Wash the snails and blanch them in plenty of salty water with red chili. In a casserole with olive oil, fry the onion and the garlic finely cut, together with the ham in cubes. Add the snails and cook it all over a low heat for 15 min. Then add the flour and the paprika, stirring until lightly colored. Remove and it is ready to serve.
